Fall Blogger's Quilt Festival

Last fall was the first time I heard about the blogger's quilt festival over at Amy's Creative Side.  It is a great place for lots of yummy quilt inspiration and I have found quite a few quilty blogs to follow because of the blogger's quilt festival.  So here's my first entry for the festival for the baby quilt category.  I made this one over the summer for one of my sweet nephews who I will finally get to meet next month, yay!!  This is my first quilt that I quilted on my own machine, just diagonal lines, and used my machine to sew on the binding instead of by hand since I thought it might be washed a bit more than a typical quilt.  You can read more about it here and here.

Stay tuned for another entry tomorrow!

  1. Lovely job! And really great photographs.

  2. Welcome to the BQF! Your quilt is beautiful, you can never go wrong with that color combination, I'm so jealous of that corn field in the back ground.

  3. I love hourglass quilts! Your's is wonderful. Great fabric choices.
