Out with the old, in with the new!

Okay, these bibs are seriously OLD (that yellow one was from Tyler when he was a baby and he's almost 9!) I don't know why I didn't throw these away sooner!

And here are some new ones I just finished. About half are for Katie and the rest are for gifts. These look so much better and can't wait to throw the other ones out! I got the pattern from the Sew Mama Sew blog a few years ago.

National Scrapbook Day

This card was for Telah's challenge to use up any scraps of paper that you had used on any of your LO's you made this weekend. All of these printed papers came from that same sheet of Studio Calico paper. Love the way it turned out!

For Joni's hold it together challenge: use things that hold things together (buttons, stitching, zippers, clips) just like moms hold everything together. I used stitching and a clip on my journaling. Our garden tomatoes (summer of 07). I used the May 8th sketch from Your Scrapbook Stash.

This one was from Kristin's sketch challenge. The kiddos enjoying summer with some popsicles. This one was so easy to put together, it's actually just one sheet of Studio Calico paper, except for the banner!

This one was for Jenny's play challenge: scrap whatever you think of when you hear the word play. These pictures were from the same day at the park. The kids ran up and down the hill so many times, just pure kid fun. This one I used the May 7th sketch from Your Scrapbook Stash.

This one was for Tami's dirty challenge: interpret dirty anyway you want! So I went for Haley's dirty face. We had given the kids fudgesicles. It was sooo hot that they started to melt but they still wanted to eat them and none of us had thought to bring any wipes so they all just played with dirty faces. They made for some great pictures!! I also inked around the edges for some more "dirtiness." I used the May 6th sketch from Your Scrapbook Stash.

So I took advantage of last week's National Scrapbook Day (well, actually the weekend) to get some layouts done. I played along at the crop at Memorable Seasons and used some great sketches from Your Scrapbook Stash. Here's everythhing I got done!
