Some new ones...

This challenge from Apron Strings was to use at least 5 buttons and 5 brads.

This one is for the Apron Strings challenge to use at least 8 blossoms. I used a really LONG rub-on from Stampin' Up! and then put the blossoms on top of some of the flowers.

I originally was doing this for one of the Apron Strings challenges but I got a couple of them mixed up so this one didn't count but at least it's another page done!

I used a sketch from Nuts About Sketches for this one of Haley at the sand dunes.
I did this one today for the Aprong Strings challenge to use 2 frames, and one couldn't be around a picture. So the bottom two blue rectanges are the frames I've had for about 4 years! One I used for a pic and the other for journaling.

Eyelets!!!

I only got one of the challenges done this week for the Aprong Strings challenges and it was to use at least 12 eyelets!!! I haven't used eyelets in ages and I barely made a dent in my eyelet stash! I did do quite a few other LO's this week but I will try posting them tomorrow since it's already dark and I haven't taken pics of them all yet!!

Apron Strings challenges

For this challenge, you were to use 3 different ribbons. I ended up using 4 and a whole bunch of scraps!!

This challenge was to use some of your oldest papers. The orange and brown papers I bought about 4 years ago, so yippee!!

I found this new site, Apron Strings while blog hopping the other day. They are having some great challenges this month for their birthday. Each challenge is using something from your stash and has a sketch along with it. These are two that I got done this past week.

What's a girl to do??

I saw this saying in a magazine and I thought it would be cute on a card so I made used scraps to make quilt squares, did faux stitching around the squares. Then I machine stitched through the ribbon.

I used a sketch from Pagemaps for this one. It looks like green in the picture but it's actually a turquoise color IRL. This LO is of the first day that I could fit Haley's hair into piggy tails.

I used mostly Scrap Within Reach stuff for this LO. This was Tyler's first time to go fishing and when they caught the fish and Ryan showed it to Tyler, the fish's tail slapped Tyler on the cheek. He wasn't too happy about it. That's why I chose to do the numbered sequence of events on the LO. I cut out the little fish, inked them, and used brads for eyes.

Ryan's out of town in sunny Las Vegas for a concrete convention so I am spending my nights scrapping away! Here are a couple projects I got done the last couple of days. Hopefully I can get some more done before he gets back!!
